Theresa started at Research Pet and Bird Hospital in December 1997. She started here as a receptionist and after years of seeing pets come in and need help she decided to start in our technician department.
Theresa has many talents and we have utilized those to help us create an environment of excellent customer service, care and concern for every pet that enters our front door. This continues within her leading our team as Hospital Administrator.
She also enjoys spending time with her family as well as her passion as a Chef. She graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in 2009. She shares her home with 2 chiweenies, Shorty, & Bevo and Chihuahua JoJo (Jody Conradt) and her cat Biggio.

Patty started here in 1988 as a kennel technician. Within a few months she was promoted to a managerial position as kennel manager. Patty realized that her interest in animal medicine would soon be her permanent career.
She trained as a technician and achieved this after a short period of time. In 2001, as our technician manager, Patty was leading our team to provide the very best care for our clients and their pets. Her passion for client education and excellent patient care has continued throughout the years and is taught to every new employee that comes into our practice.
Patty enjoys time with her family and gardening. Her fur family consists of two German Shepherds, Promise & Sheba. Her feather family consists of a Cockatiel named Joppa and an African Grey named Poncho.
Debra came to us in Jan 2000. She started working in the Kennel and soon decided that this is where she wanted to stay. She enjoys taking care of clients pets. She understands it is more than just a overnight stay.
She is very conscientious of the pets needs. She enjoys spending time with her family. She shares her home with three dogs Wiley,a shepherd mix, Oakley, a Great Pyranese Mix and a Brussels Griffon named BJ as well as a domestic short hair cat named Hemi.

Michelle joined our team in October 2015 with the enthusiasm to be part of this exotic and domestic veterinary practice. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University in the summer of 2012. With her lifelong ambition to love and care for animals, she has gained abundant knowledge and experience in general husbandry, wildlife research, and veterinary medicine. Her favorite animals are bats! Michelle’s love of bats is what brought her to Austin, which is home to the largest bat colony in North America. On the weekends, Michelle volunteers at Bat Conservation International and Austin Bat Refuge. She currently shares her home with two dogs named Koda (Australian Shephard) and Charlie (Bichon Frise), and a domestic short haired cat named Bagheera.
